Kenny's Cafe is a well-known hole-in-the-wall spot that serves up some truly impressive (and HUGE) breakfast and lunch options. After checking out other Yelp reviews, we saw that the bulgogi and cheesesteaks are fan favorites, and it's easy to see why! We decided to share their breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint! Packed with eggs, cheese, breakfast meats, and hash browns, it was a hearty and satisfying meal. But what really makes Kenny's Cafe special is the owner, Kenny himself. He has a way of making you feel like family, treating us like long-time friends from the moment we walked in. It's places like these, with their warm, personal touch, that are becoming harder to find. Supporting small businesses like Kenny's Cafe is a pleasure, and we can't wait to return!

Had the bacon breakfast burrito which was great. This is a solo operation (from what I could tell) from an enthusiastic owner, chef, Kenny. The ratio of potatoes to the bacon and eggs was good. This is not a fancy brunch spot burrito. The tortilla is cooked likely from the bacon grease, with its oily deliciousness. It came out piping hot. The burrito was made to order, so it did take a bit. I will definitely be back. It rivals many of the ones Ive tried from the plethora of Mexican breakfast spots.

Kenny's cafe is something that everyone has to experience and try. My burrito had great flavor and the taste of everything coming together was amazing. I highly recommend check them out and trying their steak & spam burrito. Ones of the best burritos I have had in awhile. I also really loved how much he loves his son and America! It's displayed throughout the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place yet, but I have been coming here for a few years now! In my opinion, it's the BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I have ever had! If you're a potato lover, you'll love this! Portion size is huge and good enough for two meals and price is reasonable. It's like no other breakfast burrito place I have been to. Kenny is super awesome and one of the sweetest people if you ever meet! He loves socializing and taking pics with his customers! Come and have a great time!

Amazing breakfast burritos! I stumbled across this place on Yelp since I was looking for a breakfast burrito place and I'm so glad I was able to try Kenny's Cafe. There was easy street parking in front of the store. When I first walked in, we were greeted with a friendly welcome in from Kenny. Pictures filled the wall, and it showed how much people adored this restaurant. The owner Kenny is such a warm and friendly person and it's incredible how he's the only one who is working. However because he was the only person waiting we did have to wait a little bit for our burrito which was no biggie since we weren't in a rush. As for the breakfast burrito, it tasted delicious. It had all the great components of a breakfast burrito. It was super filling too as I could only finish half my burrito. Definitely have to come back here again.

Came by on a Saturday morning due to all the raving reviews. I would call this place a hole in the wall restaurant as it's on the side of an industrial complex and there's street parking in front of the restaurant. The decorations are pretty interesting with photos of many customers and Kenny himself is very friendly and patriotic. I decided to order the de La Cruz burrito which I shared with my wife as a snack and then decided to order the onion rings for an extra $5. It came with 5 onion rings total which were very heavily battered and made the onion rings hard to finish. The onions inside were still pretty raw. I wouldn't recommend the onion rings but the burrito itself was really good. The de la Cruz burrito comes with bacon/steak, potato onion. Steak was a little on the chewy side but was pretty good. Overall I wouldn't go out of my way for Kenny's but if I wanted an Asian fusion burrito, I wouldn't mind come if I was in the area.

I visited a friend in San Jose this past weekend and stumbled across Kenny's Cafe on Yelp when looking for a quick breakfast spot. My friend and I didn't make it on Saturday, the day I originally suggested going. However, something about the novelty of a "bulgogi style" breakfast burrito beckoned me, so I made a solo trip to Santa Clara the following Monday morning. The restaurant is situated in an unassuming building with a very small parking lot next to it. When you first enter it, you are greeted by a sea of smiling faces. At first, you'll think, "Wow! This place has had a lot of VIP customers stop in!!!" So then you'll order an amazing breakfast burrito--can't go wrong with #2 Steak burrito with bulgogi salsa--and you'll wonder why Kenny, the owner/chef is so happy and cheerful. It won't be until you read the magazine article that you realize that the faces on the walls aren't necessarily famous people but they're each still very important to Kenny and they are sources of happiness for him. After reading the article, you'll likely find yourself smiling to yourself as you wait for your freshly prepared order. It won't be until you're scarfing down your delicious grub while driving your car to the office or on to your next adventure, you'll realize you've just stumbled across one of the most genuinely happiest people on earth and have a sudden desire to revisit Kenny's Cafe. In summary, visiting this hole-in-the-wall breakfast burrito joint is much like visiting your inner child--it might not be the most glamorous of places but it's a wholesome place that will feed both your belly and your soul. Give it a go if you have some free time one of these mornings--you won't regret the experience.

It may not look like much, but Kenny's the one-man show type of restaurant you didn't know you'd enjoy. We got lucky and were the only ones in the door at the time we arrived (around 12:30), but since he's a one man show, he takes the orders and he does the cooking. Just have a little bit of patience and don't come when you are already hangry. (Or try to order ahead). We got x2 Filly with Dutch Crunch bread and a breakfast burrito with fries. The sandwiches oozed with melty cheese, it was delicious and had plenty of filling. The Dutch crunch bread was delicious and crunchy on top, but not so hard to where it scrapes the roof of your mouth. Food was good, but I think the best thing was Kenny's personality, if he has the time he would chat with you. And if you are new faces, there's a high chance he'll ask to take your photo. There is parking on the street, and although the restaurant had mismatched furnishings, it looks fairly clean. There are also a couple of small tables and some chairs outside as well.
